Marathon for Andreas cancer journey
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Bury Hospice and every donation will help.
1 year ago today my sister Andrea got the all clear of Cancer. Bury hospice supported her and our family throughout. I thought it was time I got my arse in gear and did something to say thank you to Bury Hospice for all they did for Andrea in her final months of chemo.
As much as I always said ‘never again’ after my last marathon I thought it’s nothing in comparison to the journey of being cancer free my sister Andrea went through. So here I am running the Manchester marathon on the 27th April 2025.
The NHS only cover upto 13% of funding therefore without donations people like Andrea would not be able to continue to receive the amazing support she had from all the nurses at bury hospice. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me and my family.
More information about Bury Hospice: We look after a population of over 190,000, in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury. We are regarded as a community asset, delivering the Palliative and End of Life Care needs to many in the area. Our main vision is the focus on early support and intervention working closely with our community partners.
