Burying Bubby- A sisters plea for help
Donation protected
Growing up is filled with many ups, downs, obstacles, and sharp turns. I was blessed to go through my previous 41 years with a brother who stood by me, protected me, and prayed for me every step of the way. Bubby and I fought many battles within the world, having eachothers back through me being a single mom and his health conditions progressing throughout the years. Although he was born into this life with numerous health challenges, all I could ever see was my one and only brother. I saw a warrior when I looked at him. I saw a fighter with more strength in him than anyone I ever knew. I saw a man whose faith in God was so profound that it caused me to open a bible for the first time when I was a teenager. I saw a man who studied history and shared it with all those around him. I saw a man who laughed with me about the hands we have been dealt instead of wallowing in self pity.
My brother was born with Central Core Myopathy, a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy, combined with a severe case of Scoliosis. He wasn't given a long life span at birth, nor the numerous times he has gotten sick over the years, however decade after decade he beat the odds (see what I mean by the man I see- A STRONG WARRIOR WHO FIGHTS) Now I am faced with our final battle...You see my brother was adament that he wanted to be buried, not cremated. He wanted a Christian burial for which I indend to give him, however I had no idea all the money that was involved in this. Please help me to make his final resting place one that he would be proud of, one that I can succeed in providing for him.
Jeff Mock passed away just after midnight April 30, 2021 and He was the best bubby in the world.
