Bushfire relief for Nymboida
Beautiful humans Tony, Debbie, Shiann and Kasey lost their home Friday 8th November 2019 in the NSW bushfires. In fact a LOT of homes in the Nymboida area were lost. It was a devastating fire.
Thankfully they are safe, their horses survived and they can rebuild, but life is going to be tough for a while. We would love to provide them and their neighbours with a little cash to go clothes shopping and start replacing some of the comfort items they lost
Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated and will go straight to the families who lost homes.
Simone (her sister) and I feel so helpless down here in Victoria, this is just a small thing we can do to ease a little of the sadness and strain.
Thank you for contributing and sending love.
Update: Simone (Debbie's sister) has been keeping in regular contact with Debbie. They are well insured and are currently safe in Grafton. The community is still reeling from the devastation of the fires, with 45 homes being lost in Nymboida alone.
Debbie has spoken of a families that have lost their homes, horses, pumps, sheds; who do not have insurance. She has suggested we start getting some money to these families to ease the burden of the next few weeks whilst they sort out their world. As Debbie has limited access to banks at the moment Simone is organising cheques to be sent to those most in need.
We thank you for your kind donations. Know they are going to the families in need.
