My names is George Mason I play Ash on home and away, this year we are lucky enough to to be heading up to Northern Terriory, Alice springs.
After watching some of the horrific footage of the mistreatment of boys in Don Dale youth correctional facility on Four corners a couple of weeks a go I figured I needed to do something to try and help and inspire these boys.
Bushmob is an centre for youth at risk of being disengaged and marginalised. And they need our help so they can continue doing great work with our boys in giving them hope, self respect, trust and courage to have a good life and stay away from drugs alcohol and crime.
Bushmob gives these young people the opportunity to learn positive skills in living, horse riding and culture and land management.
After speaking with Will Macgregor CEO of Bushmob he made it apparent that they need some new riding gear cow boy hats and boots for their bush camp. So I figured with the help of you beautiful people, friends family work colleagues at home and away, we could chuck in a few dollars each, and then I will not be travelling up to Northern Territory empty handed.
We we have two about two weeks to raise as much money as we can.
It is so important that places like Bushmob exist because with out them these young fullars end up stuck in places like Don Dale and never getting getting the opportunity to make positive change. It would mean mean so much to me if you guys get behind this.
