Gregg Gorin - Marshall, TX Hero



Gregg Gorin is a real-life hero. While sitting in his office on 04/01/17, where he works as Marshall's only real computer repair specialist, he heard a scream and glass breaking next door at Boost Mobile. Without hesitation, Gregg grabbed his legally owned firearm and went toward the danger. The result? A literal shootout with a robber who was about to shoot the female employee of Boost while taking cash. Greg raised his pistol and was fired upon by the intruder before he could get his own shots off. Gregg was struck four times, once inches from his heart.

Before this terrible accident, Gregg was already facing mounting medical bills due to an infection in his leg that almost killed him as well. That's two of nine, and too many times with death so close.

Gregg will need the community to help support him financially and with prayers for good health. Marshall needs to keep our best computer repair man. Consider helping any way you can.
