BUST THE BIJOU MORTGAGE

Since 1937, many have called the Bijou the Jewel of the Oregon Coast. Which we try to live up to on a daily basis.
 
Most small businesses have had to close due to covid-19. Keith and Betsy, the Bijou owners, can sympathise.  We closed our doors on March 20th. 
We have had several donations some of which we have shared with our employees. We also served to-go popcorn and presented virtual theatre from our website in this time trying to keep in contact with our patrons. But financially nothing quite enough to keep us going into the summer and beyond.  When we do re-open it will be to one third of our capacity.  That is not enough.
 As of today, we haven't received any money from the government in EIDL or PPP loans.  Neither one of us have received any money from the "Stimulus Checks".
  
 So we are coming to you with GOFUNDME. We are asking for $2984. Just enough to pay off our Bijou mortgage! With that done we can breathe a little easier and continue to keep Lincoln County in smart scripted, independent film with your favorite performers and more!
When it is paid off we will celebrate with a Free Popcorn Weekend celebrating the "Burning of the Mortgage".
