Mr. Bustamante's Medic/Funeral Exp

Donation protected
At approximately 5:30pm on Monday, July 20th, 2015 Hector Bustamante suddenly passed away due to complications after heart surgery. His passing was unexpected and tragic, to say the least.

Mr. Bustamante was a hard worker, always joking around and bringing  joy to all he interacted with. He worked at Hermosa Barber shop for 49 years and on his way towards his 50th year in business.

He proudly supported his wife and three sons.

Mr. Bustamante was loved by all and will be remembered as an extremely hard working man who rarely spent time away from the barber shop. His service as a barber started at Hermosa's in 1966 immediately after being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. He's known families through generations, watching young grow to become grandfathers who now bring in their grandchildren.

One quality Hector was known for was his amazing memory. He recalled so many details of his customers because he truly cared for them and their families.

As you likely know, as a barber, you only earn an income when you have a customer in your chair. Unfortunately, Mr. Bustamante did not have a large retirement or life insurance policy established. His widow, Mrs. Bustamante is now faced with the prospect of unsurmountable medical expenses for his bypass surgery and hospital stay, along with funeral expenses.

These expenses could easily amount to $100k or more, resulting in devastating consequences for Mrs. Bustamante in such a tragic time.

We are asking that you donate whatever you can to help Mrs. Bustamante cover these enormous expenditures. Any amount will help and will be very much appreciated by the Bustamante family during this time of mourning the loss of such an upstanding man.

*Disclaimer: I am  a friend of the family - I've know the Bustamante's for no less than 20 years. 100% of the funds raised will be given to Mrs. Bustamante to help with medical and funeral expenses.

May Mr. Bustamante rest in peace. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

My heart and prayers go out to all of his family and friends. He will truly be missed.
