Mary Rose

In loving memory of Mary Joyce Rose, who sadly passed away on 10th December 2023, in the company of her family.

Our Mum and Nan will be sorely missed. She was a loving woman who, even in her final years, didn’t shy away from an adventure with her best friend Val. Mary and Val would often visit Gravesham Promenade; eating lemon sorbet and enjoying lots of the community events there, including watching Peter Andre.

We would like to remember Mary with a memorial bench situated at Gravesham Promenade, so friends and family can visit and sit with her in her special place. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Another memorable place to Mary was The Prince of Orange pub in Gravesend, where she loved to watch the drag acts. That's why we have selected this as the location for her wake. We would love to see you all there, sharing your stories and memories of Mary.
