Butcher Family loses everything in truck rollover

Hi, my name is Tina Frazcek, I am fundraising for my friends Paul and Tammy Butcher.

Paul and Tammy decided to relocate from Champaign IL to Lake City FL. Like many people, they were hoping to start a new life with their five children in a tax friendlier state. They flew down and bought a house in Lake City, once the purchase was finalized they had to fly back to Lake City again to pick a 26ft. U-Haul truck for their furniture. They made it back to Champaign without incident but noticed one of the tires on the truck was low, so they called the service department to have it repaired. U-haul sent someone out to repair the tire and they loaded up all their belongings and set out on the fourteen-hour drive to Lake City. Tammy was driving with Paul riding shotgun as they left, their kids were following along behind in a passenger van driven by an aunt. About two hours into the drive the previously repaired tire blew out causing Tammy to lose control. The truck rolled over several times before ending up drivers side down on the shoulder of the highway. Tammy was trapped under the steering wheel and underneath Paul who ended up on top of her. Both of them were airlifted from the accident site to different hospitals in the St. Louis area. Needless to say Paul, Tammy, and their children have lost almost all of their possessions, furniture, beds, clothing, children's toys. electronics and all of their kitchen utensils.

Tammy is currently in a neck brace and isn't able to walk and Paul suffered injuries to the entire left side of his body, he remains in a different hospital than Tammy.

The family needs some financial help immediately to look after their children while they remain in hospital, and to repurchase some of the basics once they are able to be released.
