Kimberly Upton Medical fund

Kimberly's Story:  On October 17th 2015 I was married to my amazing wife not knowing that a year later we would be sitting in the doctors office after a routine breast exam to find out Kimberly had been diagnosed with breast cancer.  This was absolutely devastating to Kimberly as she had defeated breast cancer 16 years earlier!
Because of the aggressive nature of the past treatments , radiation and type of cancer, a double mastectomy was required.  Kimi was scared yet brave in face of those fears.  Unfortunately there were complications after the surgery  that required more surgery and that led to infections in which we required to stay in hospital once again. Upon returning home we had more complications with medication and of course once again more hospital stays! 

Kimi has been such an inspiration and light to so many people even throughout this ordeal. Never once has Kimi left my side while I coached rugby on weekends even while undergoing chemo!
She is loving mother, devoted daughter, loyal sister, trusted friend and my light!

We are blessed in so many ways and full of gratitude but now we  find ourselves in need of financial assistance. 
We are now in next phase of treatment/surgery at Stanford in May.
The burden of unforseen complications , treatments, home nurse care, medications, loss of work , etc etc , the list goes on.  Our medical and deductibles have paralyzed us and we are now reaching out to help in taking care of our burden.
We are so grateful for any support and can take solace also in any act of kindness.
