Buy a Farmer Time to Heal
Donation protected
One of the unfortunate realities of being a farmer is that there is no medical leave for the self-employed. Throughout the pandemic, Shannon has been an integral part of providing free boxes of eggs, chicken, ground beef, and produce to vulnerable members of Massachusetts communities. While working tirelessly to support the efforts of her fellow farmers to start and expand their operations into profitable ventures to maintain a system of small, sustainable family farms, she’s also pursued her own dreams, managing her own herd of goats and cows while constructing a creamery. Unfortunately, Shannon recently experienced a serious physical injury and needs time to rest and heal to come back as strong as ever.
Please consider making a donation so that Shannon can hire temporary help while she recovers. We are raising enough money to pay for six weeks of physical labor around the farm and shop.
