THE VISION:
A historic building saved
—a resource for all:
Museum
Food Pantry
Service office for Veterans Benefits
Financial Aid Center
Wreaths for Fallen Heroes Office and
Storage
Trail Of Honor Flags Office and Storage
Event center for weddings or concerts
The Frank Gladd American Legion Post #20 needs more room to operate our large number of
veteran and community-supporting programs, and this building is the perfect solution for our needs.
This remarkable building, built in 1940 by the WPA, served as Fort Gibson High School until 1970.
However, it is in significant need of repair. Post #20 supports activities in
our community, such as patriotic school programs, Halloween safety, American Legion baseball, the Legion Outdoors,
community service projects, and much more. We seek to assist and honor all veterans,
including supporting notable non-profit organizations such as Wreaths for Fallen Heroes and Trail of Honor
Flags, Inc. The Rock Event Center will allow us to expand our support across the community, and we
ask for your financial support to manifest this dream.
