Buy New Picnic Benches for Coober Pedy Playground

Hi Everyone,

It's time to bring new life to the Coober Pedy Playground and Triangle. Things are already happening. New events such as Parkrun. Community projects such as tree planting and cleaning. An action team is also working on bringing together a new master plan for community feedback.

Right now, we are starting by raising funds to purchase and install a minimum of five new picnic benches around the playground and skate park. We know this is picnic central, birthday party central, and just hang out with your friends and family central. We are raising this money how Coober Pedy always has, together. Let's make it happen.

Coober Pedy Together is about bringing about change, community spirit, community pride, and sense of purpose for the community of Coober Pedy. It’s about creating a common plan and vision. It is about resourcing the community to be able to create the place in which they would like to live. The work is led by a group of residents who were voted for by the community, known as the Coober Pedy Together Facilitation Group.
