Buying N95 Masks for Phila Healthcare Workers
Donation protected
Help us raise money to independently buy N95 masks for Phila area doctors, paramedics, and nurses. These are needed to protect themselves, and prevent spreading any virus to their families. Hospitals are asking that we donate these crucial, life saving supplies on their websites and Twitter, and if you know a healthcare worker in Phila, you are probably hearing about this shortage first-hand.
100% of funds will be used to purchase N95 masks and drop them off directly at these three Philadelphia hospitals, all of which have asked for donations on their website (Temple has asked on its Twitter feed).
Temple (3401 N Broad)
Jefferson (233 S 10th)
Penn (800 Spruce)
I was inspired to do this based on a successful gofundme in NYC hosted by my brother in law (if you're in NYC and want to support your city, check it out). His sister (my sis in law) is an ER doctor and these supplies were needed.
If you work for another PHL hospital in need, please let me know and I will do my best to donate. As of this writing, March 29, supplies are limited, and I don't want to over-promise.
I will post updates and photo's of drop off's, so you can see that your donation went to good use. Thanks everyone.
