Buying Time for the Edwards Boys

Hi. My name is Ray and I'm hoping for rent & bill relief for my brother and myself. (We're roommates) I was laid-off last November when my department at PBS was eliminated, and my unemployment insurance has run out. In the meantime, my brother had to have his lower left leg amputated, and he is not yet able to return to his job. This money would buy me another month to continue searching for work, and keep us both from being evicted. (I applied for state rent relief 2 months ago, but I still haven't heard back from them.) I know most of us need help these days, but receiving this money before the end of August could just buy my brother and me the time we need for me to find a new job and for him to get back on his feet (literally). There aren't words to describe how grateful we would be for your help in this extremely precarious situation. And I promise to pay this kindness forward in every way I can.
