Donations for medical expenses

On behalf of Jimmy Gillespie, this gofundme has been started to help with medical expenses and basic needs he will be have while being treated for stage 4 colon cancer. In the January of 2022 Jimmy was first diagnosed with colon cancer and after enduring a grueling treatment in August of 2022 entered remission. After his most recent check ups followed by a PET scan, the doctors found the colon cancer had aggressively returned and metastasized into Jim’s liver. Having just started a new job for a locally owned company, Jimmy currently is not eligible for short term

disability or receive family medical leave. After attempting a new course of chemotherapy that proved to be unsuccessful, Jimmy will be undergoing a highly invasive surgery to remove and destroy the cancer at its source and will have a lengthy recovery time that cannot be covered by personal time off.

As Jim will not have any income to pay for treatments and his household expenses, we humbly ask for any kind of assistance while Jimmy focuses on recovering and on regaining his health.
