Hello all, and thank you so very much for taking a look at this page. Recently I've become unemployeed and so I've been looking for ways to get an income and a good friend of mine suggested this page and so I figured I'll give it a shot!
Here is a little bit about me. I'm a Texas State Technical College (Waco) Graduate back in 2012. I recieved an A.A.S degree in Computer Maintenance Technology. I've worked for a company called H-E-B for 4 years. Two of those years I spent as an Electronic Maintenance Technican Level II working on computers at the stores and replacing hardware and server mainteance. Then I decided to quit to move back to California so I could be back with my family again. I'm well knowledgable in all Windows products and I've been trained on Apple computers as well. From OS X 10.4.X up to 10.9.X Mavericks.
My passion is computers. I love taking them apart, putting new parts in making them faster, better and stronger. My favorite feeling in the world is when I can fix someone's computer and seeing/hearing the joy when I can get it up and working again. I love doing that and that's what I want to make my career out of. So I would really like to start a computer repair business.
This is where you come in:
With every generous donation you give. You help me be able to buy the tools I need to work on computers, get advertisements out to the community of the Greater Sacramento region.
The Business Plan:
I plan to charge a flat rate of $60.00
If parts are needed there will be addition cost for the part or parts.
This covers Virus/Spyware/Malware removal, tune-up of the computer to help increase speed, hardware repair if needed or adding in new parts to the computer. Windows/Mac OS X Installation, troubleshooting, how-to's ect ect.
I'd much rather do a flat rate then hourly because sometimes antivirus removal can take up to hours which isn't fair to the customer.
There maybe a charge on gas depending the distance. I.E. $5.00 for 20 miles.
