DREAM DATE: THE MOVIE

Scott Swan -- co-writer of Masters of Horror episodes Cigarette Burns and Pro-Life, co-writer of Fear Itself episode Skin & Bones, writer of The Profane Exhibit, co-director of Toe Tag's Maskhead, and director of Big Junior -- needs help! (No, not that kind of help.)
THE TITLE? & WHO THE HELL?
SWAN: "I recently wrote a quirky script called Dream Date, which I'm very proud of, that I'm going to direct. My Evilflix partner and producer Wayne Burgess, who did a fabulous job putting together my last movie Big Junior, is on board to produce this one as well. On Junior, we worked miracles with a paltry budget, and on Dream Date we intend to improve upon our Evilflix movie pipeline."
WHAT'S ALL THIS ABOUT?
"Dream Date is about an odd little man who works in the ass-end of the advertising indusrty. He is an extreme food enthusiast and has a strange fixation on a certain lovely lady. His mind is innocent in many ways and he doesn't view her the way most men would. Against her better judgement, she agrees to meet him. Funny, unexpected and startling events transpire during the course of their night together. We follow several characters on this unusual jouney and the finale is a gripping, Rod Serling-esque freakshow that you won't see coming and won't soon forget."
INSPIRATIONS
SWAN: "My list of inspirations for this film go like this... Rod Serling, Tim Burton, David Lynch, John Waters, and Adam Rifkin. In the past my movies have been extreme and lurid in nature. This is by no means a family film, but it's a step in a more mainstream direction for me. Is it edgy? Certainly. Are there a couple gross out moments? There are actually a few. But I'm attempting to speak to a wider audience than I have in the past, while at the same time sneaking in as much subversive stuff as possible. And for me, that's crazy."
YOU CAN HELP!
In order to get this movie made, we need support. The budget is extremely modest and all of the money raised will go directly to getting this movie made in the most efficient, maximizing, professional, bang-for-the-buck way. This is your chance to get involved with a bold artistic endeavor.
