Bryan Updyke & Family Fund

The Family of Bryan Updyke are gathering funds to help pay medical bills. Many of you know Bryan as friend, business owner, advocate and historian. His undeniable passion for the people of St. Croix, friends and family is felt by all who know him.  Since the Fall 2019 Bryan's health declined with a persistent virus and double pneumonia which let him to be admitted to the hospital this week to find he is also fighting leukemia. Due to the COVID-19 breakout, the family has been without an income since February and has had to bear the weight of all the medical expenses.  The extent of his condition is not fully known at this time. We will update this page as we get more information. 



Today, July 16th,  Bryan and Jill are waiting medical transport to Puerto Rico to explore treatments options for the leukemia. Any and all donations will go toward the expenses incurred during this time. 



Following is a note from Jill on July 14th;
"Well, we are down, and we need your prayers and thoughts right now. Bryan Updyke is in the hospital with pneumonia and he has been diagnosed with leukemia. He is in good, capable hands at Juan Luis Hospital, and is in good spirits. The doctors are being aggressive at getting him well again. Please take some time today and going forward and say a prayer for him, and his healing. He is our universe. We will not be able to correspond right now, so know that we will feel your concern and love. We love you all."
