Family needs help after fire destroys home

In the early morning hours of December 8th, a fire broke out in our apartment complex beneath the building and devastated 5 units, the worst being Danielle, Rejon, and 4 year old Xavier’s unit. The fire was located directly below their unit, and the entire unit and most items inside are a total loss. We’re being told they’ll be displaced for at least 2 months due to the fire and their unit is completely condemned with no one being allowed inside. This family only has the clothes on their back at this point.

With the holidays coming up, and a baby on the way in March, this is especially devastating. We’re trying to help them with replacing clothes and essentials, beds, and toys for 4 year old Xavier, along with providing temporary housing and food. The owners of the complex have not offered a housing solution for them at the moment but we’ll update when we have an answer. Please help this family to get back to normal. They’re wonderful people with the biggest hearts and we don’t want to watch them suffer through this more than they already have to. Thank you so much.
