Keira & Kailyn's College Fund

Husband...father of two young girls...West Point grad...veteran of the First Gulf War...and friend/coach/mentor to so many...Kelly Ouderkirk passed away Monday, 8 Feb from a sudden heart attack at the age of 49.

Kelly was always quick with a friendly smile, generous to a fault, and unfailingly loyal. Perhaps his most defining characterisitic was the way he always looked to take care of those around him.

He was also a fearsome competitor and the strongest of leaders. His 3rd ACR Bradley scout platoon was one of the first units to enter in 1991. He was awarded the Bronze Star with V device (for valor) for his actions in combat.

So many of you have reached out asking what you can do to help the Ouderkirks in their time of need. Kelly's wife, Karen, has expressed her desire for donations to Keira and Kailyn's college fund in lieu of flowers. We created this site to fund a formal trust for Keira & Kailyn's college education.

Kelly was a beautiful man...If you knew him, you know that he absolutely LIT UP when talking about his daughters. This is an opportunity to share the love and respect we feel for Kelly...and pay it forward to his beloved children.

His daughters are bright, energetic and filled with that inimitable Ouderkirk enthusiasm. There is little doubt they will be like their father in the way they spread cheer...and bring leadership, intellgence and wit to all they do.

From the bottom of my heart...and on behalf of the Ouderkirk family...thank you for taking the time to consider a donation.
