Send our #5 Ranked Team to Nike Indoor Nationals

We are headed BACK to New York!!

March 10th - March 12th @ The Armory in New York City, NY

But this time; we are going with a nationally ranked 4x200 relay team!

Back on January 7, 2023, during the Liberty Premiere; Our 4x200m relay team ran the US #1 time in the nation. Just ninety seconds prior; a team in the heat before ran the US #1 time. The relay team consists of Jonathan Vernon, Josiah Persinger, DaRon Wilson and Peyton Lewis (pictured below). As of February 11th, 2023, our relay has not only improved our time but has now run a Top #3 ALL-TIME of 1:27.97 in the state of Virginia and is currently ranked #5 in the US. This time also breaks the school by almost more than 4 seconds.

With all the local and national attention, we want to take these athletes (among other qualifiers) to compete on the national stage AGAIN! This time, with a huge possibility of a National Championship!

We also have an additional 4x200m relay team who will be competing in the same event as the "A" Team. Our "B" Team consists of Trenton Moyer, Dominic Wright, Bryson Hill and Isaiah Barlow. This second group of boys also ran a time of 1:32.38, which is also faster than the previous school record, making them contenders in the same meet.

These are athletes as of right now that are qualified and entered into the meet. We have 2 more meets left within the season and hope to be adding to this list.

Being that this is an independent meet outside of the VHSL regular season, public schools are not allowed to be represented so we must fundraise to be able to attend.

Our Goal of $10,000 will go towards; 3 nights of lodging, 2 meals per day for athletes and coaches(the hotel serves hot breakfast), transportation, entry fees to compete and team warmups & uniforms.

So PLEASE Donate so we can send these amazing student-athletes to the New York Armory and represent the Roanoke Valley on the national stage!
