Ferrell House Fire

Hi, my name is Raven; My wife, myself, our 8 year old son, my brother, his wife, their 3 year old son, and 1 year old daughter live in Chickasha. We just moved into our house the beginning of May. We have had a couple people suggest a gofundme so we have set one up and truly anything (even just a prayer) will do wonders!

A little back story is Friday at 4:30 AM our fire alarm woke us up, and our house was already filled with smoke. We jumped up to grab our kids (and could barely see 2 feet in front of us! As we ran outside our neighbor was blocking our front door with a baseball bat and a knife trying to trap us inside, he had started a fire on three different spots of our house, the front door, back door, and the middle back part. Him and my brother got into a fight falling off the porch, he stabbed my brother in the arm. He took off running around the house (towards his house) so my brother went back inside our home to get dogs out. As my wife tried to put out what she could of the fire on the back side of the house, he tried to stab her so she couldn’t spray the house. He eventually ran into his house and locked his door. We got our kids and our dogs out right before the hallway floor fell through! All the while him and his mother watched our house burn through the window. He was arrested and has admitted to the cops to starting the fire saying it was because he is “crazy “. But in reality we don’t know why. He is now in jail in Ada. My brother received stitches in his arm and was released from the er the same day. We lost almost all of our belongings to the fire, smoke damage, or water from trying to put out the fire. We have had amazing people donate beds, couch, toys, and some clothes and are extremely blessed! We just ask that you keep our tribe in your thoughts and prayers as we restart and recollect ✨❣️
