Legal Help to Get Grandson Back Home
Donation protected
This North Carolina Grandmother needs legal help in getting her grandson back home and with his mother and family.
At only three months old, this perfectly healthy and unharmed baby was taken from the loving care of his grandmother and the family's home, while she was helping his mother care for him after his birth and during a brief hospital stay.
The Local Department of Social Services claimed the mother had not made "appropriate" arrangements and initiated an unlawful ex parte "hearing" behind closed doors to remove this child from the only home he had known and the loving care of his grandmother.
The Court then prohibited the grandmother's legal right to participate in hearings that followed, until the grandmother filed motions that exposed false documents and other errors.
The court responded by unlawfully moving the case out of the county to another venue and continued to make false allegations. It was clearly retaliation.
The grandmother and mother both live on very limited incomes and have no way to pay for proper legal assistance that will combat this kind of corruption.
The case is now on appeal. We need an attorney who will fight for our rights and help with a proper appeal.
Please help this grandmother get her grandson back to his home. The NC Dept of Health says a child has a right to be with his biological family.
We love him dearly and miss him so.
