Support the Veteran Litten family
UPDATE:
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Renee’s passing. She has moved on to a higher place, soaring among the clouds, and we know she is watching over us with love. Please keep Scott and the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. If you are able, let us come together to support the family in any way we can.
For over 30 years, Renee, veteran wife, has been a cherished hairstylist, a loyal friend, and a source of joy to all who know her. Whether it was camping trips with her grandchildren or riding on the back of that Big Dog motorcycle, she embraced life with energy, adventure, and love.
Sadly, the past few years have been incredibly challenging for Renee as she battles a serious medical condition that has profoundly impacted her daily life. Activities many of us take for granted, like driving or simple tasks around the house, have become incredibly difficult. Her condition has limited the time she can spend with her family, enjoy her grandchildren, and do the things that brought her happiness.
Renee’s family has rallied around her, offering unwavering support, but the financial burden of 24/7 medical care is overwhelming. As someone who has always been there for others, Renee would never ask for help herself—but now, it’s our turn to step up for her.
Her primary caregiver is her husband, Navy Veteran Gunner's Mate, Scott, who served on the USS Butte (AE-27) and is a lifetime member of the VFW.
If you know Renee, you know she’d be upset with us for sharing her story, but we’re willing to face her frustration because she deserves the support she’s given to so many. Her strength and kindness have touched countless lives, and now her family needs us to return that love and generosity.
Any donation, no matter the size, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow Renee to focus on her health and recovery. Please consider contributing and sharing this campaign to support a family that has always been there for others.
Thank you for your kindness and for being part of Renee’s journey. Together, we can help her through this difficult time.
