https://www.wxyz.com/news/breaking-news-homepage/massive-fire-at-home-in-warren 2019 has been HORRIBLE for my family and myself. January 11 my father died a sudden death. January 27 my mother was involved in a hit and run walking out of kroger. The culprit was never found. The very next day my mother passed out and rushed to the hospital once again. June 28 I lost my job of 5 years. November 30 my home exploded. I received multiple calls from the City of Warren dispatchers. After many attempts, I was able to speak with Becky who informed me that I needed to get home. Moments later, I received yet another call that there was a fire at home and I needed to get there as quickly as possible. The final call was made informing me that it was an explosion and the house was on fire. “I’m sorry hun but you don’t have a house. The police are waiting on you at the scene”. Panicking and driving at 90 MPH I finally made it close to home. I could see and smell the smoke/fire 5 blocks away. I arrived at the scene and my heart dropped to the ground. All of my belongings, memories and pictures. Not to mention all of my dads belongings. I have the clothes on my back and that is it. I don’t even have a physical picture of my dad. Just as I’m trying to pick up the pieces and move forward, there’s yet another hurdle I must encounter. I’m hopeful that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel but in the meantime I need any type of help someone can provide in order to start the journey to rebuilding this thing called “life”.
