Dylan's Light

On Thursday, September 24, 2020 Dylan Lattery sustained a gunshot wound in Minneapolis and died shortly thereafter. Hearts are breaking following the loss of this wonderful young man, beloved child, amazing brother, adored grandson, and child of God.
Dylan's life was a gift to so many in this world. His impact was certainly not limited to Owatonna. It stretched across the river into Wisconsin and truly across the country, as he loved to travel and was fast to make friends/connections wherever his journeys took him. In his mother's words, "Dylan loves adventure and has a quiet, kind soul. He loves long talks on the end of my bed and gives the best hugs ever...in front of anybody! He loves travel, California, Rap music, concerts, Chicago, Sam, Tim and Ian. He loves to be on the go, trying new things and seeing new things. He makes his own adventures. A great way to live life. His new puppy Baba tops the list too."
We want to circle around Lynn, Eric and Kelsey to remind them they are not alone. In a time where there are no right words and nothing to “do” to help ease the suffering, we hope to remove at least one burden and support them financially. Our desire is to offset the costs associated with saying goodbye to Dylan. We chose to share about this chapter of Dylan’s journey and passing publicly, knowing that doing so is exceptionally painful, but can also open doors of hope, healing, generosity and love. Please join us in our mission of support, by contributing whatever amount you are able to during this unfathomable time of grief and loss.
