Take legal action against Sussex Police

Hi, I’m Doug. I was arrested in February 2023 & faced 9 charges relating to me releasing trapped wildlife of the Duke of Norfolk estate in West Sussex.

The police seized several thousand pounds worth of my belongings & put me through a year of this before I was found not guilty on all charges on 24 January 2024.

The police have been disproportionate in their actions & obstructive in returning my belongings (some of which they have damaged).

I am seeking to take the force to court for compensation. Unfortunately I don’t have the funds to do this & have no idea what the cost would be. I’m therefore starting this fundraiser in order to get the ball rolling.
