Bye Bye Thyroid, Help my sister beat Cancers ass

The “C” word has always been a word that struck immense fear in me. Cancer. The un-cureable, yet treatable disease that strikes fear in the hearts of so many.

We all know someone who has had to fight cancer, and now my bestfriend and little sister Katy is fighting cancer, thyroid cancer to be specific. Her thyroid has been a pain in her ass for a while now, and now it’s time that we get that thing out of her, along with the cancer it has grown.

The only problem is that my little sister doesn’t have health insurance. She has been trying to get health insurance for months, but with the current state of things, it has been outside of her capabilities to afford the most necessary of insurances for her at this time.

I am going to do everything that I can to make sure that one of the people I love the most on this planet, the person who loves everyone equally, and fights for everyone who can’t fight for themselves, and who would never stand down to any bully or challenge gets the absolute best care that she can get, but I am also asking for your help.

I said I would never be the guy to make a GoFundMe. That I would never need one, and here I am, asking for anyone who can to pitch in what they can or share with their friends and family.

Just removing her thyroid and a couple of trouble nodes is going to run at least $20,000. This does not include rent, bills, missed wages from work, or any of the like.

We are just hoping to get Katy the best treatment we can, and get her back to health and allowing her to do what she does best, share her light and love for humanity with with world.
