Help Lauren Beat Breast Cancer

Hello! My name is Kris and I started this GoFundMe on behalf of one of the best humans I know, with her blessing. To know Lauren is to love her, and the same goes for her three wonderful children.

This week, Lauren was diagnosed with Stage 1 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Breast Cancer. At this time, there is no known metastisizing. She will be having an MRI within the next few days or weeks to confirm this. She has already scheduled her double mastectomy and lymph node biopsy for May 4. With this surgery alone come major costs and a lot of time off of work to recover. As a single mom, this is a burden that she should not carry alone. Her long-term plan at this time is oral chemo for 5yrs, but that is subject to change based on her progress. Her oncologist is very encouraging and hopeful that a full recovery will be made and she will be cured of cancer.
