Byler Family

On February 16, 2020, Brett Byler was found to have a large 5.5 cm brain tumor which has grown and crossed the mid line of his brain.  He will undergo surgery on February 20th to remove the majority of the tumor and follow-up with chemotherapy for the remainder of the tumor.  This time will be trying and difficult for the family and friends of the Byler family. Brett will be hospitalized for an unspecified time while his wife, Mariah, runs the household and raises their three young daughters (Brynlee, Barrett and Bellamy ages 6, 4, and 1).  On top of all of this, Mariah is driving approximately one and a half hours each way to the hospital on a daily basis.  

Officer Brett Byler is a former Marine, has been a police officer since 2009 with the Department of Defense, San Diego Police Department, and currently with the Escondido Police Department.  Brett’s employment is the only source of income for his family and it is unknown at this time when he will be back to work.  Please assist the Byler family with donations to pay for food, fuel, and activities for their three daughters during this difficult time.
