Cancer Treatment Fundraiser

Hello friends and followers, I’m starting this fundraiser because I have recently been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, an aggressive cancer that has metastasized into my bloodstream and other organs, including my liver. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

My wife is now the sole provider of our household. She is doing an amazing job at balancing a caretaker role for me and doing her best to provide. While she is doing all that she can, the concerns are mounting.

I have always been a fighter and a servant of God. While an active member of Ocean Lakes Church of God, my most passionate endeavor has been helping the homeless; most notably a walk of the entire parameter of the United States to raise funds, awareness, and support for homeless veterans in 2014-2016.

Since my two and a half year walk around the US, I have been actively pursuing writing my book. I now have the time to reflect. While I will need to use these funds as support through treatment, I will be using at least some portion to help publish my book on my walk for the homeless and the fight against homelessness.

There is no cure for pancreatic cancer, but there is hope. The hope for a better quality of life while battling cancer, the hope to continue the fight for our forgotten, and the hope for peace and acceptance for my family and loved ones.
