KEEP THE DOORS OPEN for De Lucca's School of TKD!

Hello! I'm Jessica Rodriguez. My stepfather Dominic De Lucca established De Lucca's School of Tae Kwon Do in Daly City, California on August 1st 1996.

The studio has been providing a fun and safe atmosphere for families to exercise together and learn the art of Tae Kwon Do.

As a child, I was inspired to pursue Martial Arts while training there! Now, I am one of a few Black Belt female instructors who also competes and coaches. It's become a lifelong passion to be accomplished in Martial Arts and to apply this to other areas.

Family Values & Character Building is his school's slogan. As owner and head instructor, Dominic runs his school with

the same family values he learned growing up with great families in the Sunset District in San Francisco. He learned

his hard work ethic and discipline from his parents Vincent & Marie and by attending Holy Name of Jesus.

For 27 years De Lucca's School of Tae Kwon Do has provided scholarships for families who were unable to pay for their lessons. Demonstrations have been featured in the community at local churches, schools, malls, and family events.

The benefits of Tae Kwon Do training include improving student performance in other activities sports, improving

focus in school, building self-confidence, and encouraging positive relationships with family and friends.

Like many businesses, the pandemic has hit the studio hard with a decline in enrollment. It barely survived but is moving slowly forward. It now faces a new obstacle after 27 years. The building where the studio is located is being torn down for condos and must move by this August 2023. It is being forced to leave its current location but is not financially prepared to do so.
