Help us evacuate from Gaza

Why to support us! My 7-year-old son's exact words were: "Mom, I'm not afraid if the house is bombed over my head and I die, but I'm afraid if it's bombed and I die suffocating under the rubble, and no one can get me out."

Hello, everyone. I'm Neveen, from the devastated northern Gaza City. I am a mother of two lovely children. Before this horrific war, my 7-year-old son Nabeel and 3 -year-old daughter Alma had a beautiful life full of hopes and laughter. My small home, which I have not seen for 7 seven months and is no more than 64 square meters but it was full of happiness, safety and security, was not spared from the ravages of war and exposed to much damage. now we find ourselves displaced without a shelter and without the lowest necessities of life. Since October of last year(7months) we have seen every face of fear, humiliation and death. We have experienced horrors beyond any human being abilities and imagination. Beginning with constant bombing, and airstrikes day and night, we also faced a complete lack of essential necessities like food, medicine, and water.

Previously, I worked as a content writer, aiming to promote profiles and businesses, while also hoping to develop my own. However, the onset of war dashed those hopes before they could materialize. My husband, Alaa, had a store that sold carpenter accessories and supplies, which has been completely destroyed, leaving us with nothing. My kids' future is in a real danger that increases every day. I was at beginning so hesitant about creating this fundraising link but my feeling and constant nightmares that the danger is approaching and increasing to my kids, is what ultimately pushing me resorting to this method after exhausting all other options. Additionally, the high costs of leaving this hell are $5000 for each person and because of the cessation of our financial income over the past seven months due to the war and bombing, which destroyed our source of income, we became unfortunately unable to afford the survival tickets. Nevertheless, mentioning the high prices of the basic food and the prices of travelling and living from a place to place (we were displaced over 3 times, from Gaza to the middle then to Rafah and back to middle of Gaza)

I have lost everything, and at the same time, I am so thankful to have my small family with me. Now, we have nothing but to rebuild our lives and homes and try to exit the Gaza strip to keep my kids safe, Insha'Allah. It's all I want: to watch my kids grow, play, and be educated far away from terror, destruction, and bloodshed.
