You can do hard things - 12 Challenges in 12 month

We're Cal Foster and Adam Levi. We live in Dunsborough in the South West of WA and are two blokes trying to bring awareness and reduce the stigma of men’s mental health issues.

Our goal for 2023 is to complete a new physical and mental challenge every month with the aim of starting conversations around men's mental health. Our motto is "you can do hard things" - meaning that you're far more capable of facing life's challenges than you give yourself credit for. By completing these challenges we want to prove to ourselves and others that by challenging yourself regularly, you build your inner confidence and resilience for when life throws challenges your way.

Our first challenge of the year was to run a marathon distance of the scenic Cape to Cape trail in the SouthWest of WA whilst wearing a 10kg weighted vest. With some tough terrain including beach runs, sand dunes and treacherous rocks this was no walk in the park but proud to say we both completed the distance!

Our second challenge is a 24-hour continuous workout. We'll tackle this as a partner 'you go I go' workout where one person will be working whilst the other recovers. We also appreciate how important sleep is for our mental health which will be a focal point of the conversations around the challenge and how we can recover after staying up exercising for 24 hours!
