AARON'S SECOND CHANCE
You have all given so much already, for which we are truly grateful. Embarrassed to ask, and deeply humbled by your generous love and support, we reach out to you once again for any financial assistance you might be able to contribute.
Aaron has not been able to work since late fall 2020, and as a sole proprietor of his construction company, he is not qualified for state-provided unemployment benefits. His cancer diagnosis on January 24, 2021 left us all reeling, but your GoFundMe and direct donations raised enough money that, with frugal management, lasted them a full year. But now their resources are dwindling once again. Nine months of chemo, three weeks of radiation, followed by three more months of chemo have left him extremely weak. Chemo should end March 2022 after which he’ll have a month or two to recover before a second brutal surgery in May or June. Physical therapy, healing, and strengthening could possibly take another full year before he can return to work.
With overflowing gratitude for you all and all that you have done, we thank you so much, from the very bottom of our hearts.

Tragedy has been a common theme this year, and this story is no exception. My humble, loving and selfless brother, Aaron, has been diagnosed with Colon Cancer. At the young age of 41, no one would have guessed it was possible. As a private contractor, with no insurance, who is the primary provider for a wife and young daughter, this news has left them unsure of their future. Along with the mounting hospital bills the family will have an extreme loss of income.
Aaron is an inspiration and to know him is to want to become a better version of yourself. He’s the guy that starts a shaved ice business to give local youth a safe and fun way to gain work experience. He's the guy who views his own cancer and financial struggles as a way to better understand and encourage others.
As you can imagine, this diagnosis has left the family devastated. Let’s help ease the burden.
