Project Baby
Donation protected
Project Baby aims to raise money for dementia patients and nursing home residents. Many of these people spend their time alone and in isolation from others, which often times can lead to depression. The baby dolls bought with this money would give the residents something to care for and look forward to every morning. Looking after the babies gives them a sense of responsibility and purpose, even touching distant memories. A good of example of the project's positive goal is evident in the attached video clip (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1X1zPVI4fZE). To put smiles on people's faces and bring back happy memories like the one seen in the video, you can sponsor a baby for $50. Even if you are not able to sponsor a baby, any donation will be greatly appreciated. We are currently actively working with Oak Hill Memory Care in Monroe County and Red Bud Care Center in Randolph County. Funds raised above what is needed for these two homes will go to other homes or be used to buy extra babies. Thank you very much and stay tuned for updates!
