Camp Fire Victims: Please HELP!
Donation protected
One of my best friends lost everything in the Paradise Camp Fire in California. My friend Shardae Stodgen-Wood a beautiful, hardworking artist and her partner Jason Rash lost it all . Now what has happened to her and her family is devastating, crippling and she and her husband have nothing left like so many. The fire took everything her and her spouse had, barely escaping with their lives. She along with their 4 children have been displaced by this tragedy. She has birthday's coming up and all the while she lost her home, her art studio (all her paintings, sculptures, drawings her entire business life), cars, tools, computers and all her art supplies she just purchased with their financial aid money from school to get her Art Studio business growing. All her and her children's belongings GONE :( Anything would be appreciated. Please SHARE, sharing is caring!
12-8-18 UPDATE:
Shardae and Jason are living in a 5th Wheel that is infested with rats that are eating their food and only belongings they have left or gathered since the fire. Because she shares her property with her ex-husband and family they have claimed FEMA for her property and she now is not eligible for any help from them according to the company. Not only do they have the struggles of putting their lives in pieces back together but they now have to reconcile with their children who have also lost everything and frankly do not necessarily understand what has fully happened to them. They just want to go home. Shardae and Jason's little boy is having social anxiety issues. He is barely sleeping which makes things harder for Shardae and Jason, pairing off each night to stay up with Ryland who seems to be in constant fear. They have no hope at the moment and are deeply struggling each day as it goes by, as are many from the Camp Fire. They cannot afford to move and have no form of insurance that helps cover any of this loss.
If you do not like to donate to GoFundMe, Shardae and Jason have opened an Amazon wish list so they can slowing get some things they lost back this Christmas season. Be an angel this season to someone who has always mustered to do the right thing and seems to always get the tail end. They are good people who need any help that is provided. I Thank you in advance for even reading and sharing this page. Humanity shows itself in the most desperate of times and with the Holidays rolling around the corner it makes it slightly more depressing knowing that they have lost everything they strived for 10 years ago... Thank you and God Bless!
