Please Help My Best Friend

Welcome:

Hi, my name is Madison, and I am raising funds for my best friend, Emily. I have been with her through so many life-hardening experiences ever since we met in 2009.

Her History:

After numerous health struggles, she persevered through a kidney transplant in 2019, which took immense courage and patience. Currently, she is experiencing health problems including epilepsy and digestive issues. The last four jobs she held have let her go due to her health. After fighting court cases, Emily has been unsuccessful in finding a job that accommodates her needs, even after explaining them.

The Situation:

The US healthcare system is a mess, and that is why so many people turn to Go Fund Me as an option. Emily does not qualify for disability because her many different symptoms aren't listed under one label. She has various health situations that make it extremely difficult to find work.

The Funds:

These funds will be used to pay for her prescriptions needed and medical appointment needs for her to get needed help.

The Hope:

Emily is promoting her Etsy business, Lettering By Emily. She is extremely talented in art and calligraphy. She has done so much for me and my wedding. I want these donations to help her to live so she can thrive doing what she loves.

Why:

After hearing of her continuous struggle, I have turned to Go Fund Me. I have faith in our community that we can unite and help Emily. She needs to thrive despite her unasked medical conditions.
