New Vital Signs Monitor for Catherine O'Leary
Donation protected
** As we have reached our initial goal of €5000, any additional funds received will be used towards annual servicing and calibration of the new monitor and also towards Catherine’s ongoing care. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far **
Catherine has been at home now for the past 6 years, and has been cared for around the clock by a wonderful team, and of course her loving family.
Catherine is currently using a Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitor which is an obsolete product, however, the family are running into issues with this and the sensors are also starting to damage Catherine's fingers.
The monitor has come to its end of life, and the family need to purchase a new monitor for Catherine. Catherine requires ear sensors due to the issues with her fingers, and only the newer models of the Vital Signs Monitors allow for this.
Without the monitor, staff are unable to monitor Catherine's vital signs such as Oxygen Saturation Levels, Heartrate and Blood Pressure.
A New Vital Signs Monitor cost upwards of €2000.

About Catherine
As a mother, Catherine O'Leary was constantly on the go - always putting others first before herself. Despite complaining of constant hiccups and headaches for more than a year.
Like every mom, Catherine's life revolved around her loving son. There was never a second the doting mother stopped talking about her son.
The growth was only discovered after Catherine pleaded with hospital chiefs for a brain scan. As well as the headaches, the 31 year old suffered persistent hiccups for three years before she was properly diagnosed.
