Prayers for Paige

On Friday, August 3, our sweet Paige was diagnosed with Stage III Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC). IBC is an extremely rare and aggressive form of breast cancer, making up only 1-5 percent of breast cancer malignancies. Her diagnosis has come out of left field for our entire family.
Paige is a 28-year-old stay-at-home mom to her 4 beautiful babies (her sweet angel Audree; Elias, 4; Brinn, 2; and Estee, 8 mos).
Her husband John is an RN at the Beaver Medical Center and is Paige’s ROCK.
Together they will be experiencing a road of challenges that will include numerous doctor appointments, tests and surgeries.
There are still a lot of unknowns about her specific treatment plan (that will likely include immediate chemo followed by a bilateral mastectomy and radiation).
So...we come to our closest friends and family and ask for PRAYER! Pray. Pray. Pray. This is the most important request at this moment. This cancer will not corrode our faith — for we know God is THE ULTIMATE HEALER! And we lay this illness at His feet and ask you to join us as our fellow prayer warriors!
If you feel led to help Paige and her family by the way of meals, we will be setting up a meal train in the coming weeks as the details of her treatment timeline begin to filter in.
And lastly, if you feel led to donate in a financial sense to help Paige’s family with medical bills; a void left from John taking time off of work or to help with any other financial burden that may arise from being knee-deep in fighting cancer, your donations would be a huge blessing to them .
