Help Save David’s life

David is a two year old pup that had a difficult start at life. As a stray in Puerto Rico, he was hit by a car which resulted in both his front legs being broken. Those legs healed in the broken position causing him to permanently walk hunched over. That didn’t break his spirit. Of any dog you’ll ever meet David is full of love, energy, and an unwavering lust for life. Every day is a party for David; only paused at 10pm when he puts himself to bed each night. He always finds entertainment in everything he does; playing fetch with himself or crawling over to you to cuddle. Big or small David is just excited to be included and loved. 

Suddenly, three days ago, he began acting strange and after two days he was taken to the hospital and had been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that requires a multitude of medications, blood transfusions, and an extended hospital stay. He is currently being treated at Valley Cottage Animal Hospital where their resources have been exhausted and he needs the help of a specialist elsewhere.

Please help David’s party go on for longer than just one more day. David has brought so much joy to my life, bringing me out of a life threatening depression. My husband James Tangredi and I couldn’t imagine a day that didn’t include him. Money shouldn’t be the reason he doesn’t have a full life.
