Who this will help

Hello, Marie and Rachel are long time friends of Judith Mellon, mother of Zoie Robinson. We starting this Gofundme for Judie to help with the unexpected expenses due to the most recent and tragic loss of her dear, sweet daughter Zoie. A loss no parent should endure.

Why I'm fundraising

Zoie was diagnosed and living with schizophrenia. Zoie was strong but sadly, like many, who live with mental illness the disease is sometimes stronger. The disease may have taken her physically but her beautiful spirit will live on.

Zoie had been missing for several months. All avenues for searching for her were used. So many people shared flyers and updated missing person websites. The help was astounding. But sadly the outcome was not what the family wanted or expected.

So many people have contacted the family and asked how they can help. After much thought, it was decided that financial support towards funeral expenses would be very helpful and needed.

We want to give Zoie a loving and peaceful service and we can do that with your help.

The impact of your support

The wake and funeral will be in Spring Valley, NY. The wake will be at Sniffen-Sagala on Friday January 12 from 6pm-9pm and the funeral will be on Saturday January 13 at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church. Church service begins at 11am.

Any donations will be deeply and sincerely appreciated.

All funds that are donated will go directly to the family. The help will allow the family to grieve without worry. In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate here.
