IN THE PARK

Donation protected
We need your help to make "In the Park"! Funding will go towards two things: paying and feeding our team. At the moment, we are working on a very low budget, paying a fee to our actors and feeding everyone on shoot days. Pre-production and post-production is all volunteered by the Donkey Tail members, as this is our labour of love! One «In the Park» episode costs about 700 pounds right now, but we would love to be able to strengthen and pay our crew as we go forwards with the web series.

We hope to raise enough so that we can keep making the show throughout the year and that everyone is fairly compensated for the work they put into it.

Budget breakdown for six episodes:

- We need £600 to feed and pay expenses for our actors and crew.
- We need £3600 to pay our actors.
- We need £1200 to pay crew.

This comes to £5,400!

To give an idea of what your contribution could do:

- A £5, £10 and £15 donation will be put towards feeding our cast and crew!
- A £50 donation will be put towards paying our actors!
- A £300 donation pays for one actor for an entire episode!

We are eternally grateful for all contributions to make this project happen, large or small!

You can watch "In the Park" following this link. Here is some more info about the web series and the people who make it:

In this slightly absurd web series, characters love, quarrel and despair in a place city-dwellers know very well: the park.

Some people use the park for exercise, some catch up with friends or loved ones, and others use it for arguments and difficult conversations. No matter what the park means to you, it is a place we share.

In our series, it is a space where we can observe others and ourselves: our worries, odd behaviours, and what we all choose to do with our time.

The park is public, yet it is personal, and the same goes for this project.

Una’s emotional cinematography brings us close to the way thoughts, feelings and failings express themselves through our bodies.

The comically absurd and tragically relatable misunderstandings and miscommunications in Fergus’ writing make us laugh and feel for others.

Nora brings her care for stories about the weird and the lonely – and her love of laughter – into producing and writing.

Donkey Tail has previously created three short films and a sell out play. Working together and sharing our work with you is what we love most in the world, and we are so excited to build “In the Park” into something touching, funny and sad.

We appreciate your help! It is important to us that we pay the actors and crew members who we work with during the year.
