Davis Kerr's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Coming from a family who has a rich history hunting and fishing together, the recent news of Davis Kerr's accident has shaken me, along with our entire family and community, to the core.
Sunday, January 17, is a day that has forever changed the lives of the Kerr family. That afternoon, Davis, (2-years-old) was involved in an accident at the family home. After a recent hunt, my cousin, Marky, was processing deer meat in their kitchen with a meat grinder. After watching his Dad for hours, Davis stuck his hand in the machine. In a split second, he was severely injured, ulimately being transported to Dell Children's Hospital via Star Flight.
Due to nerve damage, doctors amputed his right hand during surgery. Davis also suffered fractures in his arm. As you can imagine, this has devestated the family in every way possible. The Kerr family is still at Dell and will continue to be there for as long as needed.
Ashlea and Marky are two of my best friends. They are my cousins. Davis, along with his head full of curls, is my baby cousin. I am hurting for them. We are all hurting for them. We can't take away that pain, but we can help in other ways. We have created this Go Fund Me campaign to help the Kerrs with ALL of their expenses, including Davis' medical needs. His future will likely include special therapies, prosthetics & additional surgeries.
Please consider a donation in Davis' name to support this family and the long road ahead that they will have to work through. And PLEASE, continue to pray for Davis and the entire family.
