Hoping for a Christmas Miracle

On Christmas Eve, our cat, Pig, ate the ribbon off of a Christmas present and we had to take her to the emergency vet for a $4000 surgery to open her up and remove the ribbon. It caused some damage and they had to do more than they initially thought. On Christmas Day, I developed food poisoning and spent my son’s first Christmas in the ER. I was hoping that this week I could work hard enough to make enough for rent but I don’t think I will be able to pay my bills without help.
This is immensely embarrassing to have to do a 3rd time this year. My infant son and I have had an incredibly impossible year full of some terrible luck. This year my son was born 10 weeks early due to preeclampsia and spent 42 days in the NICU. A few months later, our only mode of transportation completely quit on us resulting in having to purchase a new(er) car on payments that we can barely afford. I’m hoping this is the last time I have to ask for help and that this year I can find it in me to change our luck. Please consider helping, sharing, or praying for us.
