Concert in Solidarity with Afghan Musicians
Tax deductible
Afghan pianist, composer, and Longy School of Music student Arson Fahim presents a virtual concert with the goal of raising awareness about the inhumane persecution that Afghan musicians are facing under the Taliban and to raise funds for Afghan musicians in dire need of assistance. This multi-ensemble event features original music by Arson and traditional and contemporary Afghan music—performed by over 70 volunteers from the Longy community. The concert will premiere on YouTube on March 21st at 5:00 pm ET. It is free and open to all. Please join us for an evening of hope, inspiration, solidarity and love.
