X-ray for Belize Wildlife Clinic
Donation protected
HELP! I hate to do it - but I have to beg for your donations for an amazing opportunity.
As the Belize Wildlife & Referral Clinic starts its 5th year of operation as a registered non-profit in Belize, our x-ray processor has already given us significant "grief", several repairs, high costs in chemicals and much extra work. At this point we have to replace the 3.000$ processor... OR, with your help, "go digital" with US refurbished machine for only 8.000$!
The background on the organisation: BWRC supports wildlife conservation in Belize with free rescue, medical care in the field and at our hospital, rehabilitation for imperilled wildlife, as well as training and education. Most of BWRC's patients are trauma cases, many victims of human wildlife conflict and the x-ray is our most important piece of equipment. Please check out our website www.belizewildlifeclinic.org for more information on the Belize Wildlife & Referral Clinic - BWRC, watch the video below which was made last year introducing our mission, vision and activities.
Background on the x-ray offer: While digital x-ray seemed far out of reach (we were quoted 35.000 when we started only 4 years ago) we have now received an great offer and we hope you will help us make this dream come true for wildlife in Belize. Thanks to our advisor Dr. Adolf Maas, a few years having gone by, and systems being refurbished and replaced regularly in the US, we now have an offer to upgrade to digital for only 8.000 US, making this only 5.000$ more then the needed repair of the old processor!
Thanks to our long time supporter from the US, Clara Lee Arnold, BWRC also has been given the opportunity to use the Belize Economic and Environmental Development Fund as a fiscal sponsor to raise funds in the US. So for those of you who know and trust BWRC and want to support this directly, you can also donate via Paypal to [email redacted] and enter "BWRC - x-ray" as a subject.
BWRC depends on the help of countless individuals like yourself, volunteers, organisations and other helping hands to provide free care and rehabilitation to imperilled and orphaned wildlife. Please consider making a donation or sharing this campaign with someone how may.
Thank you!
And of course, do not hesitate to contact us via email with any questions you may have - Dr. Isabelle
