Hi! I'm LDDraws, a furry artist living in Melbourne Australia.
I've been struck with sudden dire circumstances and have been told to vacate my home of 6 months within 30 days by my roommates. I have till the 18th of February to find new living accommodation.
Due to high stresses this has caused, my work process as an artist in the community has slowed down, therefor I am unable to financially keep up with the impending time frame for when I have to move out.
This gofundme is to raise money to help me prepare for finding new accomodation and the moving expenses for my belongings. Here are some important points to ensure full transparency and ethical practices:
- Raising funds for new living accomodation. Once I find the appropriate house to move in to I will be able to pay the required rent and bond upfront.
- Paying rent/bills to my tenants. Incase I have to stay longer in my current residency, I will have to continue paying my roommates for the appliances I use such as electricity, gas, and internet.
- Moving truck expenses. I will need the funds raised to pay for the removal of my property once I have found new accomodation
- Packing expenses. Boxes, tape, and other needs for packing the smaller items I own will be needed. All previous boxes I had when I moved to my current location in August 2023 have since been disposed.
- The current price estimates may range between $300 - $2,000 AUD. Because I am starting my search to find a new home the fund raising goal is set to $2,000 since I cannot accurately estimate how much I will need once I've been accepted for new accommodation. The cost could go up, as I search for housing spaces that can fit my TV, bed and desks. I will refund any funds that are not used for my move.
- I will refund funds that are not spent on housing and moving costs. I've set up this gofundme ONLY to spend what is needed for my move accordingly with gofundme's refund policy I will not remove any funds from my balance here until I have finalised where I will be moving to and the costs of the move. Any donations not used on the move will be 100% refundable!
- I will to be as transparent as possible through this process! This will include updates on properties found and accepted, successful inspections, moving dates and everything that I will need to move out safely.
