Help Save Petunia

Donation protected
Hi, this is Petunia.
She is a rescue dog with SAFE Refuge of Central Texas. She was born with Persistent Right Aortic Arch. The cardiovascular disease known as persistent right aortic arch is also known as "vascular ring anomaly" and "vascular compression of the esophagus." It's a disease that's the result of an abnormal re-routing of the blood vessel in the artery that arises directly from the heart, the aorta. This condition causes her esophagus to be pinched by a vascular ring off the heart so that she cannot eat properly. She continually regurgitates her food.
The surgery to fix this condition runs $3,500. She had a barium swallow test to see what was going on --that was about $300, plus she will need a Bailey Chair for recovery ($200-300). She also needs to be spayed. I know this is a big ask right after the holidays. If she wasn't important to me, I wouldn't ask. She is a good puppy and was born this way. She deserves to be a normal dog who can swallow food with ease.
She was dumped in a park as a baby (found in the trash) and then adopted. Her adopter could not deal with the continual regurgitation of food and surrendered her to us. I would like her to have a better life.

I rarely post fundraisers. I need your help with this one. I'll do the work and feed her upright after surgery and keep her from being too rowdy. (hard work with a puppy)
Contribute if you can, share it far and wide. She will be adoptable in time and this will help her get adopted.
Any funds not used for Petunia will go towards another dog in my care.
Thank you all for caring about my dogs.
